Westchester Speech & Language Services PLLC is out of network with insurance companies. Superbills are available upon request for families seeking insurance reimbursement.
We provide a range of speech and language services, including assessments, therapy, and consultation. Our team of experienced therapists are trained in a variety of techniques to help children and young adults achieve their communication goals. Services are available through Westchester and Putnam Counties' Early Intervention, CSE and CPSE programs, as well as through private pay and are provided in-home, school, daycare or virtually when clinically appropriate.
We believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. Our therapists are highly trained and passionate about helping individuals achieve their communication goals.
What makes your practice different?
We’re a locally owned, therapist-led private practice, not a large, impersonal therapy corporation. We've proudly served families in our community for many years.
Because we’re clinician-owned and operated, every decision we make is guided by clinical quality and family care, not corporate quotas. Our leadership team consists of licensed speech-language pathologists who understand firsthand what children and families need to thrive.
As a long-standing local practice, we’ve built strong relationships throughout our community. We understand the schools, Early Intervention systems, and CPSE processes because we work within them every day. When you call our office, you’re speaking with real people who know the area and truly care about your family.
Do you offer in-home therapy?
Yes! Our therapists travel to all areas of Westchester and some parts of Putnam and Fairfield County.
Do you offer teletherapy?
Yes! We offer teletherapy sessions for clients throughout NYS and CT when clinically appropriate.
What therapy frequency do you recommend?
Therapy frequency is individualized and based on each persons specific needs, age, diagnosis, and goals.
After a comprehensive evaluation, we’ll recommend a schedule that supports steady progress while also being realistic for your family. Most individuals attend therapy 1–2 times per week, but some may benefit from more frequent sessions for a period of time — especially when working on motor-based speech disorders (like apraxia) or more significant language delays.
